  1. Candi, do you remember in 6th grade, coming into the girls dressing room and announcing in front of everyone that Mark Minton wanted to kiss me that night on the bus? I was mortified but of course now I laugh. Such innocent times!! I wish today that was all our children had to worry about.

  5. I kissed Mark Minton behind the gym in 6th grade. I don't think I kissed him on the bus, but Kim may have. LOL. I think I kissed way too many of the boys in our class. But when I look back now, I started that kissing thing waaaaay too young. :)

  7. BTW, what year were we in when Mark died was it 9th or 10th. I know David Neely was 10th. Wasn't Mark the first to go? SO VERY SAD.

  9. Candi, Mark died the first week of our senior year if I remember right. Oh it's been so long now my memory seems to fade. All I know is we were all drinking that night and we were at the Neon Gallery. Mark and Keith Etter were going to Cash and asked me to go and I wanted to because I just loved Cash for alot of reasons, but another friend was passed out in his car and I stayed to make sure he was all right. I owe my life to that friend that was passed out and to God for giving me the conscience for worrying about him that night. The last thing I remember was watching Mark and Keith drive off in the silver Camaro with Foghat's Slow Ride song jamming. I woke up early to a phone call the next morning with the tragic news.

  11. Baugh, I think that friend you was talking about was me! I was passed out that night in my car at neon gallery. I got home mom and dad told me Mark was in a wreck and was killed! I still go to his grave every now and then, Dad is buried in the same cementary.

  14. Yes it was you Keith but I didn't know if you would've wanted me to say that on here so I didn't. You being passed out that night probably did save my life or at least kept me from being severly injured. Thanks for being drunk. LOL
